T20 World Cup 2020 postponed:

The T20 Cricket World Cup has been postponed due to the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) epidemic. The tournament was supposed to be held in Australia from 16th October to 15th November this year. The next T20 World Cup will be in October and November next year.

There will be another World Cup in 2022. The ICC chief executive said the decision paved the way for a secure T20 World Cup. "Our members now know what they need to know and that is how they will be able to schedule bilateral and domestic cricket." The International Cricket Council (ICC) has said that the 2023 ODI World Cup will be held in October-November, postponing February and March.
